About Lintrinsic:

Founded in 2021, Lintrinsic is a startup company focusing on developing a new line of RF switches that specialize in high power and ultra-fast switching speeds for radar, electronic warfare, and wireless infrastructure.  This novel approach to RF switches allows Lintrinsic to have an advantage and gives the ability to lead the development of T/R modules, front ends, and systems.  Since pivoting to focus on RF switches as the primary product line in 2024, traction for Lintrinsic’s switch IP has grown exponentially, with grants and investments totaling more than $4M awarded since the pivot.  Lintrinsic is looking to expand the design team with enthusiastic and meticulous designers to improve the breadth and depth of the product portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Ph.D. in electrical engineering
  • 5+ years of RFIC design in silicon
  • History of first pass success in silicon design

Technical Competencies:

  • Ability to work with Cadence Virtuoso, HFSS, EMX and/or equivalent software to do the end-to-end workflow of silicon chip design
  • Experience in analog design for making robust products that are reliable in edge use cases
  • Experience with high frequency design up to 60GHz and above
  • Ability to perform research and investigate novel approaches to circuit design
  • Experience testing high frequency chips including developing the test boards and operating and automating VNAs, high power test benches, IIP3, etc.
  • Communication is a key skill – expectation is that you will be able to sell and pitch products that you make to potential customers.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity – while working in a small and agile team, performances specifications are often poorly defined, and it will be your responsibility to advise and refine specifications based on experience.
